  • My New Bff is Facebook for Blackberry

    11 March 2014
My New Bff is Facebook for Blackberry

Alas I have found the perfect friend she/he is kind, supportive informative and extremely smart. We met back in 2007 by a mutual friend Dee. At the time, social media was still in it’s infancy but a lot of people were starting to discover Facebook. I think in the beginning it was a great medium to stay in touch with friends and family and to keep a breast of things going on in your immediate circles. That was in 2007, however, today, Facebook has evolved into anything you want it to be. I gotta tell y’all the last time I checked a friend’s or Facebook aquaintance’s profile was probably 2 years ago. My feeds are dominated by Photo’s of my Boo, Art, Fashion, News, Food, Zig Ziglar, Health Articles, Richard Branson and the list goes on. It’s like having a real time self help Guru dolling out information you want and need to help keep you motivated and informed daily.

    Today’s Zig Ziglar post:
Many times you have to say “No” to the good so you can say “Yes” to the best. Eliminate those energy draining things from your life and focus on the main things that are moving you closer to your goals and dreams.

    Today’s SUCCESS Magazine Post:
“Keep away from small people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.” – Mark Twain

And it is like this all day everyday. If television numbs us to our surroundings then Facebook for Blackberry allows us to control the messages and decide what goes in. The feeds are small and most articles just 3 or 4 paragraphs except if it is from the Harvard Business Review then expect to allocate some reading time, nonetheless the daily information should help you stay informed and up to date on current events, news, fashion and art and culture.

It’s not that I don’t find my Facebook friends interesting it’s just that as life happens your everyday might seem odd to some and since the whole reason (well in 2007 anyway) to be on Facebook was to connect with others then for me at least I have gravitated towards the ideas and the life information which is streaming 24/7. I can see who my favorite TV icon Oprah was hanging with this past weekend or what she was putting up for auction from her home to help young women attend college. Last week there was a pic of Oprah and Snoop Dogg or Snoop Lion not sure which moniker he is going by now but I was like cool and it was as if I was watching two of my close friends hanging out and the take away from this that we are all more alike than not.

If you are interested in a particular subject, yet, you don’t have time to take a course but you want to learn more about it then just Like the page, you probably won’t become an expert on the subject after following a feed for six months, however, you will have enough information to sound knowledgeable at that dinner party when chatting up that cute brunette who likes smart dudes. For me, Facebook has evolved from a connection tool to an informational tool.

Latest post form the New York Times: The New York Times
As crews tear apart and build up areas of Rio de Janeiro ahead of the World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics, discoveries around the work sites provide new insight into the city’s brutal distinction as a center for the Atlantic slave trade. This should be an interesting read.

Properly used the message has become the medium. I have grown very close to my new BFF in fact she is tucked away right beside where I sleep but this is to insure that I don’t miss any posts from my Boo. TMI???

  • Social Media is Changing The World

    25 February 2014
Social Media is Changing The World

“The choice for mankind lies between freedom and happiness and for the great bulk of mankind, happiness is better.” George Orwell, 1984 I think it is pretty safe to say that the internet and social media killed the propaganda machine which existed before the internet started to be used for social media and world wide connectivity. Technically, this global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet protocol or IP addresses to serve several billion users worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks, of local to global scope, that are linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless, and optical networking technologies.

Throughout this network there is unlimited possibilities to explore human connectivity both good and bad as well as the sharing of information at lightning speeds which has made the world much more accessible to anyone with a computer terminal. For our purposes for this blog we would like to just look at how the internet has opened people up to one another and how more and more we are realizing that we are more the same than different.

Before the massive growth of social media (Arguably within the last 3 years) It was clear how radio and television showed how different people in different parts of the world would react to the same events. And today while watching the Olympics it would be hard to tell the difference between a Russian responding to a Russian Olympic athlete’s performance and a Canadian responding to a Canadian athlete’s performance. The same goes for world events and human devastation. We are are all touched by inhumanity and human injustice as well as humanity and justice for all and we respond in the same way universally.

Last Summer, I ran into a friend that I have known for about 25 years and we were catching up and he had asked me if I watch the news and I quickly responded “no,” I did not. Thinking back I probably came off as being somewhat ignorant of what is happening in the world and community in which I live, however what I negated to tell her was that I was dialed into almost every news source on social media and pretty much get my news in real time which is all being broadcast from Twitter or Facebook or news App via live feed from someones IPhone who was standing 10 feet away as the story just broke thus making traditional radio and television news programs more like summary reports which you can watch on television at the end of the day or listen to on the radio on the drive home from work.

What I think this translates into is the perfect sharing of real information in real time putting everyone on a even playing field. Even in sales today, today’s customers are more sophisticated because of their easy access to information and reviews about the product(s) you are selling. For this reason, your clients don’t “need” your sales team for the same reasons they once did. With all of this access to information there has become a transparency in the way people are interacting both personally and professionally.

Bottom line is it is there is too much information out there to fool people today with stuff that is simply not true this makes offline connectivity and human interactions that much more real and genuine. Over the past 5 years corporations and industries have been forced to be more transparent and if they refuse then people will simply get it done else where by someone that they can trust this is why social media is so important today to consumers as we want to know first hand who are we dealing with and are they who they say they are through all of that expensive branding or will they just say and do anything to get our business.

Billable hours is a term used in many firms that bill by the hour, one such industry is law this industry is changing rapidly. Today companies and individuals pay attention to the fees that they will pay for these types of services. Good for the little guy but not so much for the firm with 1300 Lawyers. Any change, even a change for the better, is always accompanied by drawbacks and discomforts. Arnold Bennett

  • Welcome to the Age of Demystification

    14 February 2014

This blog is going to attempt to connect the Industrial Revolution to the Technological Age. I wanted to research the changing dynamics of our current economic times as it is clear that the old fundamentals which got us here are not going to be able to get us into the next century. This is evidenced by how much social media has taken control of our society in North America and around the world. Facebook and Twitter would not have survived 50 years ago mainly because information was controlled by the ruling class and since knowledge is power the way to maintain control of the population was through the careful dissemination of information from the right party at the right time. Today if you have a smart phone and Google then you are a genius. The speed in which we can access information has moved our world ahead in leaps and bounds.

The Industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes in the period from about 1760 to sometime between 1820 and 1840. This transition included going from hand production methods to machines, new chemical manufacturing and iron production processes, improved efficiency of water power. Harvard University calls itself “the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States” and this claim is rarely challenged. Before the 1900’s there was not much by the way of formal education, however, with the growth of industries came the need for skilled workers who were trained to do specific jobs once they graduated school. It began in Great Britain and within a few decades had spread to Western Europe and the United States. Today things are just a bit different.

Globalization which 20 years was just a buzz word today has become standard business practice. “Can we get this done cheaper if we outsourced it?” This has become the new reality on a global scale and while it is great for developing countries and emerging markets it wreaks havoc on established markets as it dismantles companies from the bottom up. Simplest example I can think of is the auto industry this is exactly what is happening to almost every other industry in the world and the only answer that seems to be constant is to be innovative and “lean in”. Today through technology we have information at our finger tips all the time. Everyone can access information which just 40 years ago was just for a select few to make use of.

Education in its general sense is a form of learning in which the knowledge, skills, and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next through teaching, training, or research. Education frequently takes place under the guidance of others, but may also be auto didactic. Any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may be considered educational.

The Industrial Revolution marked a major turning point in history; almost every aspect of daily life was influenced in some way. In particular, average income and population began to exhibit unprecedented sustained growth. We are now entering the Technological Age. Different industry, however, the same rules such as a much faster rate of development and change on a global scale.

“I have never let my schooling interfere with my education.”
    ― Mark Twain

“Without education, we are in a horrible and deadly danger of taking educated people seriously.”
    ― G.K. Chesterton

  • Hello and welcome to my Birthday Blog Feb 3rd 2014!!!!

    03 February 2014

So another year has gone by and I am one year older today. We had an amazing growth year last year for both the business and personally. I’m looking forward to what 2014 has to offer. To reach your customers it’s no longer effective to not have your business online. In 2014, most of the businesses are online too. And if you wish to get past the competition, you should apply a really efficient online marketing.

But how to succeed in online marketing in 2014? You should not only keep up with the current landscape, but also look ahead to anticipate what the future might be. Business marketing last year was like a roller coaster ride. We saw new platforms, new channels, new roles and new tools pop up all over the place. It’s as though innovation and growth is speeding up all around us and we are surrounded by opportunities to reach new customers and delight them.

It’s been an exciting year for sure. But what’s next?

This year, entrepreneurs and marketers need to go beyond just responsive web design and creating supplementary mobile apps to ask ourselves: how are our companies meeting the mobile challenge?

Today’s consumer expects delightful and stunning experiences. Marketers need to raise the bar on their site experiences, product packaging, branding and user experience. No longer will functional design get a passing grade, now we must be functional, innovative and memorable.

This year, marketers will turn their efforts and budgets toward paid marketing on social platforms. Twitter advertising, Facebook advertising, LinkedIn advertising are prime with readership and opportunity for us to meet our next customers. Newer platforms such as Pinterest. Google+ and Instagram will continue to open new ways for us to amplify our content in less intrusive ways to meet customer needs.

Content marketing continues to explode. We spent the last year getting our company on board with inbound marketing and content creation as the way to grow our businesses. From that we saw new tools built, new communities created and new resources emerge to help us make our case.

On a sad note; CNN Headline on Facebook read today: CNN
“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Phil and appreciate the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone,” Hoffman’s family said in a statement. As we remember Hoffman. Philip Seymour Hoffman was my favorite actor period. Her had so much more to do and this is really sad news. Our condolences go out to his family. He will be missed.

  • TMI Blog or Social Purging?

    18 January 2014

I was inspired to write this blog for many different reasons; the main one being that with the way the world economy is changing on every level it is clear that trust is at the core of the majority of the growth and development taking place on both a social and a corporate level. People don’t really trust large organizations because somewhere along the way they forgot that no matter how large an organization becomes; it is still built on the backs of individuals and today with social media being everywhere, everyone is a whistle blower whether they mean to be or not. So before you decide to try to get away with that “Think we should do this because no one is watching?” Just look what happened to Mit Romney during that 50K per plate private dinner speech.

Zain Verjee, a news anchor at CNN said my face is flawless. Not a blemish. Not a mark. The landscape from my neck down is chaos. I have spent more than a decade of my professional career on international television, my face visible to millions each day. Yet I have spent a lifetime hiding. I have fish-like scales. There are tiny red islands floating on the surface of my skin. They combine to create continents with jagged surfaces. They turn black and start to smell. There is blood and puss. TMI (Too much information)?

Back in 1996, when I started working on the street (Bay Street in Financial District though not my first choice of career moves but since my folks screwed up my Ivy League plans it wasn’t a terrible start). This was my first introduction to the old boys club and if they didn’t like you, you were not invited back. These guys don’t need you to make them money (well before 2008 anyway, way before that they made plenty) they wanted to be entertained, to feel something. Just think large financial institutions which are solely driven by money. The one thing that I did learn from working on the street was that if your job every day is to wake up and your only goal for that day is to see how much money you can make, somewhere along the line your moral compass will get really screwed up.

I meet my current business partner Dee back in 1997, when she was working as an accountant she was self-assured, confident and extremely bright yet she was not fast tracking it or happy at this point. I was disillusioned by what I thought was a dream career and Dee was being undermined at her start. I suggested we start our own company, she said doing what? My response was not sure yet. Fast forward to 2003 and we started Diet Groupies which was way before eating healthy was even an issue. Checkout the site at www.dietgroupies.com, we almost end up on the street (literally) trying to get that company going. Had we gotten Diet Groupies off the ground we would probably be trying to fix the world with Bill Gates today.

When we were trying to build our website for www.dietgroupies.com, websites were anywhere from 25K to 40K yup!!! There were some barriers to entry to this type of business model, back then you needed tech people and trainers as well as staff… let’s just say we bit off a little more that we could chew. A few years later we decided to start Nexonta Technologies Inc. because I noticed a gap between what programmers said and how that would affect most company’s bottom line. We wanted to make tech understandable and affordable for small to medium sized businesses which we do very well.

I think http://blog.snapchat.com is the next big thing when it comes to social media. I love reading their blog. I find their unapologetic writing style refreshing but it also makes me think part evil genius and part social savant so you know brilliant innovations will come from these guys. And, they sign off there blogs: Love!!! Who does that!!! Very cool!!!

With the selfie leading the way in social media (I started the selfie!!! Just ask Diddy!!) it is clear that transparency is job number one for businesses and individuals today cause if you lie about something, well, we can just google it and you are busted and guess what there goes all your credibility then all you are left with is street cred and unless you can rap like JayZ that won’t help you in the new economy. The internet (which is full of people least we forget) would rather a huge terrible truth than a tiny wincy white lie.

  • Happy 2014 everyone and welcome to the world of new Ideas!

    07 January 2014
In philosophy, the term idea has been used to cover a range of concepts. Ideas are often construed as mental representational images; i.e., images of some object. For our purposes for this blog we will define ideas as a visible representation of a conception: a replica of a pattern or a thought, plan, or suggestion about what to do. Hard to believe but our modern world is built on ideas and the skill and determination of the person coming up with the idea to following through to its completion.

Over the Holiday’s I had some time and was able to catch up on a lot of reading I had set aside over the last year and I noticed a trend in many different forms of media from the internet to newspapers to television and there seems to be a call to arms for entrepreneurs. We should start with a definition of this term; entrepreneurship is a process of identifying and starting a business venture, sourcing and organizing the required resources and taking both the risks and rewards associated with the venture. A new business started by an entrepreneur is referred to as a start-up company.

When we started our company in 2008 there were not that many resources both for information as well as financial support available as for start-ups today. It would seem that everyone is doing something with an idea. I think ten years from now this period in time will be remembered as the era of the entrepreneur. Twitter is full of billionaires tweeting daily to legions of followers information on how to make it in business and company’s like startup.com and shows like Dragon’s Den and Shark tank (Love those shows) match entrepreneurs to investors as well as other skilled professionals interested in getting in on the ground floor of a good idea.

20 years ago most people’s parents might have told them to go to school, get a degree and get a job and get married this might not be the most sound plan for this generation. It would seem that one of the only ways to guarantee success in this new economy (unless your father is Sir Richard Branson) is through hard work. The old adage hard work trumps talent any given day is very true.

In fact, speaking with many business owners over the years they complain that it is hard to find good people who want to work today and many people who have built successful businesses for their children find that their kids were put through good schools (If they had good parents) and don’t want to come back and run the family business and why should they as they do not suffer the same hardships that might have caused their parents to start that particular business when they did and thus they probably don’t have the same drives and motivation to keep the family business going.

I think it should be mandatory that students today be given a project from grade 9 to graduation; something that they could put a small amount of work into each week for 5 years and see how small efforts everyday can lead to a big accomplishment. Most of the young people who graduate with wonderful degrees from really good schools want well paying jobs with great companies yet most of them could not tell you how to improve the company’s bottom line if they were hired which is the way most companies hire today. I don’t think the economy will ever go back to the industrial drives machine that it once was.

I think moving forward the world economy will be people driven and addressing the needs of people and that is a human science that we can all jump on board on. As the internet has grown so has the population and there is a world full of people who need things and are willing to work for them so there is no shortage of need and want nor is there a shortage ideas however rather that reinventing the wheel. We should see what else we can come up with to grow the human spirit in order for the next generation of entrepreneur to make our generations innovations look like they are from the Stone Age.

  • Happy Holidays Everyone!

    23 December 2013
Selections of goodwill greetings are often used around the world to address strangers, family, coworkers or friends during the season. Some greetings are more prevalent than others, depending on culture and location. Traditionally, the predominant greetings of the season have been “Merry Christmas”, “Happy Christmas”, and “Happy New Year”.

The Christmas season runs from late November to early January, defined as incorporating at least Christmas and usually New Year’s, and sometimes various other holidays and festivals. It incorporates a period of shopping which comprises a peak season for the retail sector (the “Christmas (or holiday) shopping season”), and a period of sales at the end of the season (the “January sales”).

In the mid-to-late 20th century in the United States, more generic greetings such as “Happy Holidays” and “Season’s Greetings” began to rise in cultural prominence, and this would later spread to other Western countries including Canada, Australia, and to a lesser extent some European countries.

The holidays have many different meanings to many different cultures around the world however it generally is a good time for people to reflect on the past years events and look forward to the coming year. It is also a time when people get together with family and friends and celebrate having these people in your life who love and support you throughout the year. (These are the families we choose not always traditional) Whatever the holidays mean to different people they certainly are important for some down time and a reason to look back and see just how far you have come.

We here at Nexonta Technologies want to wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday season we are excited about the upcoming year as we will be entering our 6th year in business and while it was difficult in the beginning (We started right in the beginning of the 2008 market crash!! Ouch!!) Every year we have been getting stronger and so this holiday season we have much to be thankful for. On behalf of our entire team here at Nexonta Technologies Inc. we want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday

  • Madiba, or as Tata (“Father”); he is often described as “the father of the nation”

    09 December 2013
In reading Martin Kemp’s book Christ to Coke “How images become icons” this weekend, I could not help but to draw certain parallels between certain corporate brands like Nike or Apple and someone as famous as Nelson Mandela. I first learned of his death on Friday December 6 through social media. It took a while to sink in even though it was common knowledge that he was in ill health over the past few years; you knew it was coming, however, you did not want to believe it when it finally happened. At the new Church I attend, the pastor who is a South African Native gave the most moving sermon about Nelson Mandela. One part was he said “I grew up just minutes away from where Nelson Mandela served over 27 years in prison initially on Robben Island (and later in Pollsmoor Prison and Victor Verster Prison.) but he seemed a million miles away from most South Africans” He actually was one of the first to visit the actual prison cell that held Nelson Mandela for all of those years.

While Nelson Mandela had his detractors as all great men do none could argue that he was a great man. To me, Nelson Mandela symbolised what one man could accomplish if he acted with conviction, character and compassion. Madiba, or as Tata (“Father”); he is often described as “the father of the nation” has shown the world that one man can make a difference. To become great one must know suffering and to suffer properly one must know humility because it is only through humility that we can truly meet our naked selves and this is where true growth begins. This man could of had anything in life that he wanted but he chose to sacrifice his freedom for the good of humanity and of his people. I know many men today who won’t sacrifice even afternoon to spend with their children. Thank goodness for Madiba.

A Xhosa born to the Thembu Royal family, Mandela attended the Fort Hare University and the University of Witwatersrand, where he studied law. Living in Johannesburg, he became involved in anti-colonial politics, joining the ANC and becoming a founding member of its Youth League. After the South African National Party came to power in 1948, he rose to prominence in the ANC’s 1952 Defiance Campaign, was appointed superintendent of the organisation’s Transvaal chapter and presided over the 1955 Congress of the People. Working as a lawyer, he was repeatedly arrested for seditious activities and, with the ANC leadership, was unsuccessfully prosecuted in the Treason Trial from 1956 to 1961. Although initially committed to non-violent protest, he co-founded the militant Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK) in 1961 in association with the South African Communist Party, leading a sabotage campaign against the apartheid government. In 1962 he was arrested, convicted of conspiracy to overthrow the state, and sentenced to life imprisonment in the Rivonia Trial.

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela (18 July 1918 – 5 December 2013) was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician, and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was the first black South African to hold the office, and the first elected in a fully representative democratic election. His government focused on dismantling the legacy of apartheid through tackling institutionalised racism, poverty and inequality, and fostering racial reconciliation. Politically an African nationalist and democratic socialist, he served as President of the African National Congress (ANC) from 1991 to 1997. Internationally, Mandela was Secretary General of the Non-Aligned Movement from 1998 to 1999.

I think 100 years from now we will still be talking about Nelson Mandela’s legacy (After all that’s what a legacy is) If I could take one thing from his life and death that would be that life is not supposed to be easy and it should mean something. There are two types of people in this world when it comes to greatness and they are those who read books and those who write books.

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.~Nelson Mandela

There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.~Nelson Mandela

  • Why do we do what we do?

Why do we do what we do?

    07 November 2013

From fancy cars and expensive clothes to fine dining and exotic vacations, there are many ways you can spend your hard-earned dollars. And there is nothing wrong with rewarding yourself for a job well done — but what would happen if you rewarded someone else instead?

Philanthropy etymologically means “love of humanity” in the sense of caring for, nourishing, developing, and enhancing “what it is to be human” on both the benefactors’ (by identifying and exercising their values in giving and volunteering) and beneficiaries’ (by benefiting) parts. The most conventional modern definition is “private initiatives, for public good, focusing on quality of life”.

After donating financially to a charity or non-profit organization, you may feel an inner pull to become more involved with the cause by donating your time and skills as well. By volunteering, you have the opportunity to build your social circles while reaping the physical, mental and spiritual benefits from the labor you contribute to your favorite cause.

    1) They are personally affected by the cause (think cancer or heart disease)
    2) They are thankful that they aren’t affected by the cause (think cancer or heart disease!)
    3) They want to have fun and be part of something (think Red Nose Day)
    4) They share the values and ideals of the organisation (think human rights)
    5) They empathize with the victims or beneficiaries (think Haiti earthquake)
    6) They can get a bargain (think charity shops)
    7) They want to help their community (think school fundraising)
    8) They trust or fancy the person asking (think street fundraising)
    9) Personal experiences
    10) They want to make a difference
    11) They want to do something active about a problem or take a stand on a particular issue
    12) They are motivated by personal recognition and benefits
    13) Giving is good thing to do
    14) I felt emotionally moved by someone’s story
    15) I want to feel I’m not powerless in the face of need and can help (this is especially true during disasters)
    16) I want to feel I’m changing someone’s life
    17) I feel a sense of closeness to a community or group
    18) I need a tax deduction
    19) I want to memorialize someone (for example, someone who is struggling or died of a disease)
    20) I was raised to give to charity – it’s tradition in my family
    21) I want to be “hip,” and supporting this charity (i.e., wearing a yellow wrist band) is in style
    22) It makes me feel connected to other people and builds my social network
    23) I want to have a good image for myself/my company
    24) I want to leave a legacy that perpetuates me, my ideals or my cause
    25) I feel fortunate (or guilty) and want to give something back to others
    26) I give for religious reasons – God wants me to share my affluence
    27) I want to be seen as a leader/role model

I’m sure everyone can find at least one reason in the comprehensive list of why people give to charity as a trigger to their own reasons for giving back. When considering donating to a charity, many people tend to research the issues connected to that organization. As a result, you become more educated about social injustices around the world. You may discover new points of view and opinions on topics about which you were previously uniformed. This knowledge may position you to help increase the awareness of social problems among those in your sphere of influence from a balanced and educated standpoint.

My business partner, Dianna Cassidy and I decided to create a website for those of us who want to give of our time because we care. It is important to connect with people who still care about humanity and the well-being of others. We will be launching www.donatemyholidaytime.com in mid December and the site has a simple purpose that during the holiday season like Christmas, Easter or Thanksgiving to name a few, people can visit the site and find a charitable event in their area to volunteer their time at or make a cash donation directly to the event or organization hosting the event. Thus connecting with other people who still feel the need to help their fellow man. Cheers to starting something new. For Nikita!!!

Growing internet users will create economies of scale!!! Back

    29 October 2013

A target market is a group of customers that your business has decided to aim your marketing efforts and ultimately your company’s merchandise towards. A well-defined target market is the first element to a marketing strategy. The marketing mix variables of product, place (distribution), promotion and price are the four elements of a marketing mix strategy that determine the success of a product in the marketplace.

The world population is the total number of living humans on Earth. As of today, it is estimated to number 7.121 billion by the United States Census Bureau (USCB). The USCB estimates that the world population exceeded 7 billion on March 12, 2012. Mobile broadband access allows smart phones and other digital devices to connect to the Internet from any location from which a mobile phone call can be made, subject to the capabilities of that mobile network.

There are a few things to keep in mind when devising your company’s marketing plan. First, select a target audience; the customers are grouped based on similar needs and benefits sought by them on purchase of a product or service.

Second, identify clusters of similar needs, demographics, lifestyle, usage behaviour and pattern used to differentiate between segments of your company’s target audience.

Third, apply a valuation approach, you’ll need to consider market growth, barriers to entry, market access, switching, etc. are used. Test the segments – a segment storyboard is to be created to test the attractiveness of each segment’s positioning strategy also called a feasibility study which is an evaluation and analysis of the potential of the proposed project which is based on extensive investigation and research to support the process of decision making.

Always leave room to modify your company’s marketing mix expanding segment positioning strategy to include all aspects of your marketing mix. With a world population passing 7 billion people and with the internet growing at a rapid rate and connecting all corners of the globe, this enables companies to connect with limitless markets that we couldn’t reach before the internet.
