SEO 101
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a web site or a web page in search engines via the "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Other forms of search engine marketing (SEM) target paid listings. In general, the earlier (or higher on the page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine.

he first order of business is to get an industry relative domain for example toronto dentist dot com so many clients tell me that they would rather have their company name as their domain name and I say to them would you rather only people who know your company already coming through your doors to do business with you or would you rather attract new business.

Today's lessons will focus on "Cloud Computing" and "Lamp stack" For all you laymen and laywomen out there the first one Cloud Computing just means a bunch of servers all working together to run your IT needs and the other "Lamp" just means free stuff (applications) swag when you buy Linux hosting but to show off our techie brilliance I will write Techie for those of you who read my blog if anyone does at this point!

Third Quarter Here we go!
A lesson learned. In most cases people don't do this kind of thing however when you come across someone who lacks moral fiber then you better pay special attention to potential security breaches like this one. It was an expensive lesson and I do mean expensive however a good lesson to learn.

Online advertising and Grabbing Their Attention
Today it is easy to create marketing material and put it out there. The real question is does it work, are you reaching your target market? The truest form of advertising today is search advertising. This is because no one goes onto Google ( Usually anyway ) and types in Hotel Montreal unless they are looking to book a hotel to stay in Montreal and so search is pure.
