  • And we’re Back!!! Welcome To September!

    09 September 2015
September (from Latin septem, “seven”) was originally the seventh of ten months on the oldest known Roman calendar, with March (Latin Martius) the first month of the year until perhaps as late as 153 BC. After the calendar reform that added January and February to the beginning of the year, September became the ninth month, but retained its name. It had 29 days until the Julian reform, which added a day.

It is the start of the academic year in many countries, in which children go back to school after the summer break, sometimes on the first day of the month. Every September no matter how old we get it always feels like the summer is over and it is time to return to school. I guess it is a sign that we never really out grow our youth totally. September also marks the beginning of our favorite season and time of year over here, the Fall, when the leaves begin to turn and the air becomes crisp and clean with just a slight drop in the temperature allowing us to wear that Fall fashion which takes us back to when our folks would take us back to school shopping for cool gear for the beginning of the school year.

September begins on the same day of the week as December every year, because there are 91 days in
September, October and November, which is a multiple of seven (the number of days in the week). No other month ends on the same day of the week as September in any year. This month and May are the only two months to have this property.

While there are many challenges facing humanity at the present time it is also clear that we are
starting anew with opportunities to take what we have learned over the past five years and applying that knowledge and experience and doing things better than we have done in the past. It really is an exciting time looking forward with much work to do but like with anything else in this life if we apply ourselves then we will see the results and in life like in tech there is an APP for that and if one does not already exist then there is your first assignment this school year, Go build one!

In many ways, September feels like the busiest time of the year: The kids go back to school, work piles up after the summer’s dog days, and Thanksgiving is suddenly upon us.

  • Welcome to Fall 2013!

    Welcome to Fall 2013!

    24 September 2013

The word autumn comes from the Old French word autompne (automne in modern French), and was later normalized to the original Latin word autumnus. There are rare examples of its use as early as the 12th century, but it became common by the 16th century. The term came to denote the season in 16th century England, a contraction of Middle English expressions like “fall of the leaf” and “fall of the year”

When we started our company 5 years ago, our focus was mostly on pay per click advertising, since then the SEO market has grown tremendously but what has not changed is online branding for your company or organization. In fact, whether you are trying to sell something or create a hub of information to online users your biggest asset is your quality of content. With so much information on the world wide web one of the only ways to really stand out is with the content you put out there. This blog seeks to briefly spot upcoming trends in online marketing for 2014 and beyond.

In 2012, the world of marketing underwent major changes. We saw the rise of Pinterest, several IPOs and acquisitions, an aggressive political ad war, Facebook’s 1 billionth user, and watched one Korean artist turn into a global phenomenon thanks to YouTube.

Using the ubiquity of smartphones isn’t limited to local transactions either. Phones are now among the primary ways through which people use the Internet, so taking mobile browsing into account is key to any successful affiliate marketing strategy.

Globalization is a truth that has merely been reinforced with the proliferation of the Internet. Even if a certain corporation is based in a market like the United States and other saturated areas, it can easily tap into quickly-developing regions like Southeast Asia, South America, and Eastern Europe.

Utilizing the opportunities made available by leading social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest) as well as relationship building with communities of a certain niche, one can plant the seeds of their affiliate marketing program easily by being subtle, engaging, and providing informative promotion.

The next step is to make sure you are holistically blending all of your marketing efforts simultaneously. Sure you may have set up a LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter account. But are you making sure that they are working together? Having a consistent message across all venues will become increasingly important. Savvy marketers will use all of the data collected from their social media activity to better segment emails.

Digital marketing plans can no longer be an after-thought. Most small businesses still don’t set aside an appropriate budget, and they see a huge loss in revenue. Revenue generated from digital marketing should be at about 30%. Unfortunately, many small businesses are at below 15%.

  • Welcome to September!!!

    Welcome to September!!!

    03 September 2013

It feels like fall is finally here and we over here at Nexonta Technologies Inc. are pretty happy about that. The air outside is clean and crisp just perfect for a smart suit without the need of a coat. In September, the temperature drops slightly and the precipitation reduces significantly. While I had a relaxing summer I am glad that September is finally here and we can get back to business. While it could seem that our economy is still influx there are also signs of different sectors gaining momentum.

Economic growth turned out to be very modest in 2012 real GDP rose by just 1.8%. Employment made solid gains last year, but the unemployment rate remained high. The hiring intentions of SME owners for the months ahead are up, which is encouraging. Forecasters are nevertheless expecting real GDP to grow at the same pace in 2013 as in 2012; we will have to wait until 2014 for growth to accelerate.

Real GDP recorded annualized quarterly growth of just 0.6% in the fourth quarter of 2012, following a similar result in the previous quarter (0.7%). A slowdown in stockpiling held growth in check, while the contribution from foreign trade was practically nil, and domestic demand made solid head-way.

Somewhere in the world, right now, students are hard at work in school. With over 190 nations spanning the globe’s 24 time zones, students and their academic year has commenced. Forget Easter, or Christmas – there is something so alluring about the autumnal way of starting afresh.
