Welcome to our Digging Deep Blog!
13 October 2011
This blog is inspired by Ryan Blair from Visalus Sciences, Thanks Ryan for all you do. The idea of digging deep is a metaphor of going beyond the surface of our day to day life and having the courage ( It ain’t courage if you ain’t scared–Bounce) to discover our true purpose in this life. I have never met someone who faces their responsibilities in life head on and is unhappy or confused, perhaps stressed or a bit worse for wear but generally these people are growing and somewhat content in their lives.
Nothing is random whether you choose the blue pill or the green one, it doesn’t matter, what matters is that you make a choice and follow through on that choice. Life is all about follow through and seeing it to the end. The person who starts things and never finishes them can never grow, as it is only when we finish a chapter in a book that we can move on to the next chapter or we lose the message of the author. Now these choices are difficult and even more so if you have people who are followers giving you advice but once you separate from the nay sayers and trust what is inside of you then you are free to become who you are truly suppose to be, in fact without taking this journey most of us will miss the whole point to life.
Keep in mind not to judge others as those who hate or critize are simple cowards who are afraid of stepping out into life and giving their all at something that they believe in and making it work and so to see you doing it reflects negatively on them and thus they hate. There are no guarantees in life so it is what you do that will ultimately determine your destiny.
In a changing economy, like the world is currently going through the fundamentals are still the same, people still need to eat, they still need somewhere to live, they still need love (as evidenced by all of the online dating sites out there but that is entirely another blog) so besides a few greedy bankers that karma will catch up with, I think it’s time that people start digging deep and taking more responsibility for their lives and the lives of their children and go out there and make things happen. The Visalus story is an amazing one and to see all of these people digging deep and changing their lives while helping others is truly amazing and inspiring.
I saw the effects of this whole thing first hand to someone near and dear to me and read her story which was truly inspirational and to see pure drive and determination and a will to succeed with countless ups and downs along the way, well truly inspiring almost like seeing a Rocky movie! The business model is pure and the opportunity is real, I have seen it and all I can say is thank you Ryan Blair for giving so many an out to the death cycle. Find something to believe in which is real and good. Find your why and your how and dig deep and transform your life and the lives of those you love.
I have learned this at least by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with success unexpected in common hours.–Henry David Thoreau
