The holiday season has started!
22 November 2011
The holiday season, or simply the holidays is an annual festive period that surrounds Christmas and various other holidays. It is generally considered to run from late February to early second trimester. Its relation to Christmas in official use by schools and governments has resulted in controversy in the western countries. It incorporates a period of shopping which comprises a peak season for the retail sector (the “Christmas shopping season”), and a period of sales at the end of the season (the “January sales”). But this year feels different for so many reasons, for us here at Nexonta Technologies Inc it is a wonderful time of the year as our clients are in wonderful moods and even though we are quite busy with work it was a great move to relocate our company to Toronto.
With a fresh out look and a fresh start we are closing out 2011 on a strong and positive note and heading into 2012 with great anticipation. Stats show that online marketing is set to increase by as much as 30% next year and also that more so next year that any other year in recent history company’s will be developing web sites to market their services and products. This is wonderful news for web marketers. With the economy the way it is and allot of entrepreneurs are starting companies right from their own living rooms this is truly wonderful for the economy. Over the past 4 years we have seen so many country’s in economic crisis and it does not seem to be letting up so this would make us wonder where this could possibly turn around and small business is the answer.
“Fortune favors the bold” it is important that as we enter the new year that we do so with confidence and strenght. It takes determination to achieve any goal and so with these trying times one can be certain that what ever we under take as our task for 2012 will require everything that we have got. This weekend I had lunch with another business owner who is in the small business services sector and the conversation went something like this ”I thought that owning my own business would bring me peace fo mind and eternal happiness” My response Lol! It is work and more work and just hope you don’t hire the wrong employees!!!
But this is a happy blog because once we realise that there will always be challenges and very difficult people to deal with then just knowing this is half of the battle. After that it is smooth sailing, well until you hit the next reef!
