Happy 2015 Everyone!!!

New Year is the time at which a new calendar year begins and the calendar’s year count is incremented by one. In many cultures, the event is celebrated in some manner. The New Year of the Gregorian calendar, today in worldwide use, falls on 1 January (New Year’s Day), as was the case with both the old Roman calendar and the Julian calendar that succeeded it.

With each passing year comes a set of new challenges, however these challenges are necessary for us to grow both in our personal lives as well as our professional lives. Back in 2001 when Dee my business partner and best friend and I started out on this journey, all we knew was that we wanted more from life. Neither of us knew how we would go about getting that but we did know that we were going to try. Many years later and some mistakes made, we can look back and be proud that we put forth the effort to have the opportunity to work at something we both love to do, it didn’t come easy.

As the world economy grows and evolves there are more challenges ahead than ever before and the exciting part is that both Dee and myself have both learned not to look at difficulties as problems but rather to look at difficulties as challenges to help you grow and get better at life and business. While it is important to know when to adjust your sail it is also equally as important to know when to chart a different course in what you are trying to accomplish. Last year we had the opportunity to adjust our sails and position our organization for tremendous growth in 2015. This would not have been possible if we didn’t take the time and resources to focus on getting great people and giving quality work.

There will always be challenges in business and at times you will comes to cross roads where difficult decisions will have to be made and this is where intelligence comes in, nobody is right 100% of the time but if your decisions are based on the best possible decision that you can make in what seems an impossible situation then that means that you are trying and no one can ever take that away from you.
