Welcome to September!!!
03 September 2013
It feels like fall is finally here and we over here at Nexonta Technologies Inc. are pretty happy about that. The air outside is clean and crisp just perfect for a smart suit without the need of a coat. In September, the temperature drops slightly and the precipitation reduces significantly. While I had a relaxing summer I am glad that September is finally here and we can get back to business. While it could seem that our economy is still influx there are also signs of different sectors gaining momentum.
Economic growth turned out to be very modest in 2012 real GDP rose by just 1.8%. Employment made solid gains last year, but the unemployment rate remained high. The hiring intentions of SME owners for the months ahead are up, which is encouraging. Forecasters are nevertheless expecting real GDP to grow at the same pace in 2013 as in 2012; we will have to wait until 2014 for growth to accelerate.
Real GDP recorded annualized quarterly growth of just 0.6% in the fourth quarter of 2012, following a similar result in the previous quarter (0.7%). A slowdown in stockpiling held growth in check, while the contribution from foreign trade was practically nil, and domestic demand made solid head-way.
Somewhere in the world, right now, students are hard at work in school. With over 190 nations spanning the globe’s 24 time zones, students and their academic year has commenced. Forget Easter, or Christmas – there is something so alluring about the autumnal way of starting afresh.
