Welcome to our Proactive Vs Reactive Blog!

It has long been said in a quote by Jim Rohn, “We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.” Why is it that we as humans wait until we are suffering from lung cancer to stop smoking or our doctor informs us that we have diabetes before we start to watch what we eat and start to exercise. Or your direct competitor has taken marketing and SEO services with Nexonta Technologies Inc and you are still hoping that someone finds your company in a big printed directory. The person who is proactive always wins the race, this is because they are training well before a race has even been announced.
To be proactive is to be in love with life and ourselves. My business partner and closest friend for the past 16 years recently said to me that going to the gym to workout has become like building a business in the beginning it is dificult but as you get into it it becomes part of you and now it is like second nature and she wouldn’t know what to do with that energy if she didn’t go! (Think we have created a monster) The fact is that she feels great and looks great and now does not look at excercise as a chore but as a worth while investment in her personal well being. Most people wait until they meet that special someone to to start getting into shape or spending quality personal development time. This makes no sense whether you are running your business or household, being proactive is about operating always at your optimal level.
Time waits for no one, and life is to short not to always be on our A game, in fact that day you are at the grocery store and there is this very stunning woman in the line buying two tomatoes and an onion and you are right in back of her in the line and you say something charming and funny and she flashes you this huge smile and says have a good one as she saunters off would not be possible if you were not on your A game. To be proactive is to attack life with zeal and excitement but to be reactive is to be waiting for the bad to happen and then have to clean up someone else’s mess.
I Choose to live by choice, not by chance; to make changes, not excuses; to be motivated, not manipulated; to be useful, not used; to excel, not compete. I choose self-esteem, not self pity, I choose to listen to my inner voice, not the random opinions of others.Go!
