Frequently Asked Questions

How to navigate this huge ocean which is Google?

What is a search engine submission?

A search engine submission refers to the act of getting your website listed with search engines. Another term for this is search engine registration. Getting listed does not mean that you will necessarily rank well for particular terms, however, it simply means that the search engine knows your page exists.

How much should I spend on these services?

This question is relative to all sorts of different factors, however, what we tell our clients is the internet is growing everyday and so is the amount of business being done on it. So, if your company is not advertising over the internet effectively you are missing out on a large amount of traffic looking for your particular product or service.

Why do I need a new website?

At Nexonta, our site is our storefront so it is very important that we show people a professional image. We believe it should be the same for the clients that we work with. A great website is an extension of your business and we at Nexonta give you a cost effective way of creating and maintaining that professional image.

Why can't anyone find my website?

This happens often when a client had a site built for them by a friend or relative and there were no meta tags put on the website and so Google's logarithms cannot read your site and thus you cannot be searched on any search engines.

Why would I pay a company to administer my account when I can do it myself?

This is what our professionals do - we create ad copy and daily budgets that will attract traffic to your website that are interested in purchasing your product or service if you do it yourself you run the risk of spending a lot more money for an unfocussed and managed campaign.

Pay Per Click vs. SEO

The major difference between these two terms is price and timing. The companies that appear on the left side of the screen during a search are called natural or organic listings and usually these companies show up are usually the leaders in their specific business sector. This means that they update their sites on a regular basis and write blogs and their company also gives regular updates that the search engine rewards by giving those companies favorable listings. The problem with these services is that you have to pay someone to be continually updating your website and blogs. And you are not guaranteed sports one to five. However, if you make it there then chances are that your company is doing very well.

What is paid placement advertising?

Like in the name, you pay to have your company displayed on the first pages of searches with words or phrases related to your industry. Studies have shown that 75% to 85% of people who do online searches will never leave the first page of results once they find a product or service that they are looking for so if you aren't on the first page then you are missing out on a lot of business and paid first placement advertising is a real great way to be on that first page without spending a lot of money in the beginning.

Why do I need a great website that can be found online?

This may seem like a simple question, however, the answer may not be as simple. Most markets are very competitive and margins are tight and in many cases people in our experience will search online for a company to provide the product or service that they are looking for. If your online presence doesn't provide a professional and trustworthy image and it you can't be recognized by the major search engines then chances are you will be missing out on a large amount of business.

What is this ROI I hear so much about?

ROI, or Return on Investment, is the revenue generated from implementing a program such as pay-per-click advertising on a professional website and implementing other online advertising programs.

Why don't I spend my ad dollars on conventional forms of advertising like print, TV, radio and direct mail?

Just like the Internet hurt libraries it is also a more effective way to reach a target audience looking for your product or service. Online advertising puts you in front of tens of thousands of people looking for your product or service for a fraction of what it would cost to implement any of the other forms of advertising.
