The holiday season, or simply the holidays is an annual festive period that surrounds Christmas and various other holidays. It is generally considered to run from late February to early second trimester. Its relation to Christmas in official use by schools and governments has resulted in controversy in the western countries.

Changing of the Guard Blog!
The changing of the guard ceremony conducted in Canada is performed daily during the summer months at Rideau Hall and Parliament Hill in Ottawa by the combined Ceremonial Unit made up of the two Canadian regiments of Foot Guards. There is also a ceremonial Changing of the Guard ceremony during the summer at the Citadelle of Quebec by members of the Royal 22nd Régiment.

In fact the pressure is so strong today that many children are encouraged from before kindergarten to start activities which jump start their academic and motor skills so that once in school these children can perform at optimal level.

In his address to Stanford University back in 2005 Steve Jobs spoke about the most pivitol points in his life and how he followed his heart and lived a life challenging the status quo.
